Add vodka, Cointreau, cranberry juice and fresh lime juice to a cocktail shaker filled with ice.

Shake vigorously until very cold.

Strain into a cold martini glass and finish off with a scoop of very finely, crushed ice.

Garnish with an orange peel.⠀
